I’ve been thinking  of ideas for my movie poster. As the movie I want to create would be closer to an indie than a big blockbuster, I like the idea of a simple and classy poster with a block colour that would be similar to these which I found on pinterest.

Ideas

I have had an idea of a low budget/indie movie about the power we all have due to the internet and social networking sites. I have found software called Freecord which records what’s happening on your computer screen. This will help show shots of what character is doing on the internet without lens flare or a reflection.

To make the movie seem exciting I could show the internet being used as a way of uprising for teenagers. This fits two stereotypes: that teenagers are better than adults with technology and that teenagers always want to rebel.

I have decided to create a film trailer. In an ideal world I would create an action film trailer as they are exciting an there is a set pattern to an action film trailer that I could follow. This would, however be very difficult as I would have to use a lot of special effects which would take way too long.

I’m still undecided as to which project I want to do.  I have an idea of a movie trailer can I could create and have thought about how I would go about making it, however I think the regional magazine could be a lot easier and I could use the skills I learnt in AS on print.

I think that whilst doing print may be easier and I would have a higher chance of getting a good grade, film could be a lot more interesting.
